Everyday Enlightenment

5/23 1 Ahau (Ancestors) -- South/Yellow This pulse of Ahau is about the enlightened ones, the ancestors, the dreamers. This will be a time that holds great potential for shifts in consciousness and the transformation of ancient wounds. These current energies will help us in the manifestation of this solar consciousness through our relationships.

When we learn how to manage our idealism of what is possible and what can be accomplished, we will become clear on what steps it will take to move forward in our potential and be centered in that power. Learning to get along with one another by simply being who and what we are. Acting without expectations or subtext.

Among the energies will be a grand fixed cross that involves Venus, Mercury and the Black moon Lilith in Taurus, Juno in Scorpio, Jupiter in Leo and Neptune in Aquarius. Many other planetary aspects will be influencing us these next several days and combine with the pulse of Ahau to bring about changes in consciousness and how we are dealing with our partnering issues.Our dealings with others and with ourselves. Knowing when and how to practice self love in the face of anothers desires and needs.

People in powerful positions will be influencing our lives in ways that this time-pulse will begin to reveal. Much more will be unfolding in the weeks ahead. Ahau is related to the Solar father or the esoteric energies of Capricorn. It is the "gateway out" as the initiate reaches his stage of enlightenment of the deeper truths. These relationship issues will become clearer as we move through these various states of consciousness in the 13 day "Ahau" manifestation process.

5/24 2 Imix (Crocodile)-- East/Red The second day of the time-pulse is Imix, the primordial mother, and relates to the challenge of the higher knowledge of Ahau vs the roots of our intuitive wisdom. The energy of Imix emerges as the crocodile arises in the primordial ocean. It is our connection to nature and the feminine. The transiting moon in Pisces will help us delve into these deeper realms of these feminine mysteries of wisdom and understanding.

5/25 3 Ik (Divine Wind)-- North/White The third day of the pulse is Ik, the mercurial element of the Mayan daysigns. The symbol of Ik is a powerful deity, like thoth the Egyptian God of wisdom and communication, Ik comes to us through language and thought. Ik is the wind of change. These energies are subtle and powerful as expressions that move through us like flows of air and streams of consciousness.

5/26 4 Akbal (Night)- West/Black Akbal is the fourth day that anchors the pulse of enlightenment with the dark goddess energies. This is a day of deamtime power. The power of the womb that creates from that point of darkness. These are great days of advancing our connections of the male/female aspects within ourselves. Today is an exact square of Venus/Mercury at 13 degrees Taurus. The Black moon is close behind at 12 degrees. There is a dark Balsamic moon in Aries, it is time to look to where we are moving towards. In this week/pulse of Ahau we are grounded here and embarking on a grand new adventure-through the darkness into light!

5/27 5 Kan (Seed)- South/Yellow The fifth day empowers the seedling of growth and change. Kan is the day that brings us a new beginning. A day of growth and change. 5/28 6 Chicchan (Serpent) -East/Red This 6th day of Chicchan will take us forth from these days of powerful manifestations and allow us to flow into the mysteries of the celestial serpent. Chicchan is a kundalini energy that triggers many new revelations of our earthbound selves. It is the snake that crawls on the ground and connects fully to the earth. As the moon moves into Taurus we are reminded of how to use that earthy body wisdom to reach new heights of awareness.

5/29 7 Cimi (Death)- North/White The seventh day relates to the death of the old and the transmutation into the new. It is the energy of the gestating butterfly. This daysign changes all that is and replaces that which is unsupported in the new form. We use this 7th day to merge our intention into our future life and watch the next days of the pulse to build those powerful energies of wisdom and guidance. Use the glyph of Cimi to bring yourself and your beginners mind into the most desired time/space possible.

5/30 8 Manik (Deer)- West/Black Manik is the gentle deer of kindness and loving compassion. Manik is a healer and a craftsmen. The deer relates to that which is unconditional.The hand that reaches out in the darkness and asks for nothing in return. The eighth day of the pulse brings in a harmonious energy and moves us into a place of integrity, asking us to be certain of our needs and desires and letting go of all that which does not serve our highest needs. This months second new moon is an annular eclipse in the sign of the twins, Gemini. Dane Rudyar said that at the new moon solar eclipse the present is blotted out by the past, while at the full moon lunar eclipse, the past is obscured by the present. We are then able on these powerful alignments to become fully conscious during this solar eclipse of that which is buried or denied and to wake up from that past, while during the lunar eclipse we are able to release that which was old and learn to see things in a new manner, without being influenced from the conditioning of the old--unconscious energies.

5/31 9 Lamat (Rabbit)- South/Yellow The new moon energies are still strongly influencing this day of lamat, the rabbit or Venus star. We are asked on this ninth day to begin to move our forces into the direction of completion and mobilization. This is a day that works to harmonize our relationships and with Vesta now in Libra to take all our dealings and partnerships into a higher frame of commitment, relating and bonding in a manner that pleases all without giving more than one is willing to take in return. Everything is now brought into balance when we pay attention to how we are relating to one another, and ourselves.

6/1 10 Muluc (Moon) - East/Red This day of 10 Muluc is the river of karma and relates to our deepest hopes and desires. Our needs that become manifest on the material plane. The moon is now in cancer and in a few days so will Saturn -- lord of karma--be taking residence in this watery sign. As we move through these eclipse days of transformation and partnership evaluation we will learn that what choices we make now are of utmost importance in the days, weeks and months ahead. Muluc asks us to purify that which is old in the deepest layers of our self. To let go of our old mindset and begin to see things with a more intuitive outlook.

6/2 11 Oc (Dog)- North/White The 11th day dissolves all that was and asks us to see what is newly formed as a result of our current intent. The day of Oc is about loyalty, love and companionship; and connections to people who will be apart of our future days. New meetings and relationships may unfold and knowledge of those who support us will be clearer on these days.

6/3 12 Chuen (Monkey)- West/Black Today is the crescent moon in cancer and we are asked to question our intention for this month. This day of 12 Chuen is about looking at things from a new level of understanding. Chuen is the monkey of illusion and play. Chuen will act in ways that will help us find our inner child and/or trick us into thinking we know more than we think. It is always best to play with these new layers of understanding, allowing our beginners mind to be present. To know the child within. To know that we do not have to have all the answers, and that we are not in control of any of it. Saturn is now in cancer, as makes its first move at 6:28 pm PDT. This is a long cycle that will last until the summer of 2005.

6/4 13 Eb (Human)- South/Yellow Today's moon enters Leo and we are at the end of our current cycle. The 13th day of Eb is a day of ascending into the nature of our humanness. It is the emptying of the cup that overflows with wisdom and understanding. It is the road that takes us further into the truth of who we are and learn to love ourselves without question. The trick here is to simply be.
